You'll also need a regulator from a Vaporizer, and that fight can get rough if you're solo and under-geared. Still, it's worth doing. The real grind starts at Stage 5

You just keep running routes and hope it finally appears. Then there's the Arc Turbine for compressors. At least the recent audio changes help. You can often hear that low mechanical hum before it gets on top of you, which gives you a second to set up instead of being caught flat-footed. Ticks are less of a headache now too, so side fights aren't quite as messy as they used to be.

How to keep the project from dragging

The best way to handle Avian Alarm is not to treat it like one giant session. Break it up. Do a few value runs where your only goal is ship models and materials, then switch to targeted hunts for machine parts when you're in the mood for fights. If you're also clearing other objectives like Line in the Sand, there's a good chance you can overlap routes and save yourself some time. That helps a lot, because this project can absolutely wear you down if you force it. Stick with the industrial crates, keep your ears open for Turbines, and chip away at it bit by bit.
