Governor Alex Otti, OFR, is setting the pace for a modernized Abia justice system, combining major infrastructure investment with comprehensive digital reform.

New Infrastructure: Construction begins in the next one month on two 1000-capacity, state-of-the-art Judiciary complexes in Aba and Umuahia.

Digital-First Approach: These complexes will be fully digitized and equipped with high-speed Internet connectivity, marking a decisive move away from file-based systems, in line with the theme, "Reforming Abia State Justice Sector In The Digital Era."

Wider Rollout: The administration is also completing the construction of 17 new court halls across all 17 LGAs, which will soon be commissioned.

This is a commitment to a faster, fairer, and technologically advanced justice sector—creating major opportunities for tech and infrastructure partners in Abia State!

Prominent singer Tiwa Savage reveals how a politician once sent a private jet to fly her out while she was pregnant, as she recalls how someone gifted her a Range Rover on her birthday.

Speaking in a recent interview, Tiwa was asked about the grandest gesture anyone had ever made toward her.

She revealed that one time after going on a show with Mavin crew, a politician had sent his SA and a plane for her specially.

Although she maintained that she never took the plane.

The award-winning singer also shared that someone once bought her a Range Rover as a birthday gift, which she eventually returned.

According to her, the lavish gift coincided with the day her now ex-husband proposed. “I didn’t know that it was going to be presented that same day,” she said, reflecting on the moment.

According to the Sultan, it’s misleading to claim that Nigeria “won” the Biafra war purely by its own strength.

“Let’s be truthful — Nigeria did not fight the Igbos alone. Britain, America, and five other world powers joined forces to suppress them,” the Sultan said. “On their own, no African nation could have defeated the Igbos in battle. These are people born to fight and survive.”

The Sultan emphasized that the Igbos’ ability to sustain a full-scale war for nearly three years (1967–1970), despite international blockades and limited resources, remains unmatched in African history.

“No nation in Africa has ever held out for three years under such pressure and isolation,” he added. “That’s why it sounds almost laughable when anyone talks about going to war with the Igbos today. Even during the darkest days of the war, there were moments the world thought Biafra would win. They were that determined.”
