• BREAKING: Superstar Davido Turns Convocation Into Inspiration, Commissions Hostel Named After Late Mother At Clifford University

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Sunday, graced the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Clifford University, Owerrinta, Abia State, where he officially commissioned a female hostel named after his late mother, Dr. Veronica Adeleke, and delivered an inspiring commencement speech to the graduating class.

The emotional event, attended by dignitaries, students, and entertainment personalities, saw Davido cutting the ribbon to unveil the Veronica Adeleke Female Hostel, a project he described as a tribute to his mother’s lifelong passion for education and philanthropy.

Speaking during the ceremony, Davido urged graduates to pursue purpose-driven lives and use their gifts to impact society positively.

"When I looked into their faces, I saw the same fire that built me that hunger to be seen, to make something out of nothing, to turn pain into power,” he said.
“I told them that talent might open the door, but purpose gives it meaning.”

The singer, who is also known for his philanthropic initiatives in education, said the dedication of the hostel symbolizes his mother’s enduring influence.

“My mother, Dr. Veronica Adeleke, was a teacher and a giver who believed education and compassion could change lives. This building is a continuation of her purpose turning love into legacy,” Davido added.

In a moment that further lit up the ceremony, popular nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest, who accompanied Davido to the event, announced a pledge to pay the school fees of 50 students of Clifford University, drawing loud applause from the audience.

The Vice Chancellor of Clifford University, Prof. Chimezie Omeonu, commended Davido for his commitment to education and youth empowerment, describing him as a role model who has continued to inspire a generation of young Africans through his music and humanitarian work.

The ceremony ended with the ribbon-cutting of the Veronica Imade Adeleke Female Hostel, attended by university management, guests, and jubilant students.

The day’s events not only celebrated Clifford University’s graduating class but also underscored Davido’s enduring message — that true greatness lies not in fame or fortune, but in the lives one touches.

  • "There's a profound distinction between having sex and making love. Sex is about physical gratification, a fleeting connection with someone who sparks desire in the moment. But making love? That’s about touching someone’s soul, forging a bond that feels timeless and deep. When you grasp this subtle difference, you start to see what life truly means. Life isn’t just about getting by—it’s about truly living, and making love embodies that.

Sex satisfies a primal urge, a hunger that’s part of our survival instinct. But making love nourishes your heart and mind, filling an emptiness that’s lingered for too long—a yearning for a true partner, someone you want to wake up next to, not just tonight, but tomorrow and beyond.

When you chase only physical pleasure, there’s often a shadow of guilt or shame that creeps in later. But when you make love with someone who holds your heart, there’s never a moment of regret. You carry those moments with pride, cherishing them with the same warmth and joy every time they cross your mind."

Do have a great and safe day

    Love you all

  • Somebody asked how deep is the v@gin̈a?
It's deep enough for a man to lose his car, his house, his sense of reasoning, all his money money and sometimes his life.

    Stay away from married woman
    That's how deep it is.

    Do have a safe life

    Love you all.

  • "𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿" and husband.

Being a father isn’t just about writing checks or paying bills; it’s about showing up, being present, and living with integrity. Providing financially is important, but it doesn’t erase the damage caused by lies, infidelity, and broken trust.

Your children need more than a provider; they need a role model. They watch how you treat their mother, how you handle responsibility, and how you uphold your promises. If you’re unfaithful, you’re teaching them that loyalty and respect are optional. Is that the legacy you want to leave?

A man who cheats on his family doesn’t just betray his partner... he betrays the stability and security his children deserve. No amount of money can heal the emotional scars left behind. Financial support without moral integrity is empty. It keeps the lights on but dims the light in your family’s hearts.

Being a good father means more than providing material things. It means setting an example of honesty, loyalty, and love. It’s about building a foundation your children can stand on.... one that won’t crumble under the weight of betrayal.

Don’t just provide for your family. Protect it. Honor it. Be the man your children deserve to look up to. Because at the end of the day, your character is worth more than your paycheck.

    Do have a happy family

    Love you all
