BREAKING NEWS
Former U.S. Air Force F-35 pilot arrested for allegedly training China’s military.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Gerald Eddie Brown Jr., a 65-year-old former Air Force officer and F-35 instructor pilot, was arrested on February 25, 2026, after returning to the United States from China. Prosecutors allege he provided — and conspired to provide — defense services to China’s military without required U.S. government authorization.
Brown reportedly served more than two decades in the U.S. Air Force and later worked as a defense contractor. Authorities say he began negotiating a contract in 2023 to train pilots for the People’s Liberation Army Air Force, which would require approval under the Armss Export Control Act.
