Information reaching Ohaukwu Reporters this evening confirms that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was atta@cked by a DSS officer shortly after returning from his court appearance on Friday.

According to Barrister Maxwell, who visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu alongside a few others earlier today, the incident took place right in front of his cell room. Since then, our great leader has not been in good spirits. During the visit, Mazi Kanu personally narrated how the DSS officer assaulted him without any provocation.

Ohaukwu Reporters gathered that Barrister Maxwell and his colleagues tried to encourage Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to remain strong, as he has always been. However, the situation calls for urgent attention. We therefore join the legal team in demanding that the court order his immediate transfer to the correctional center, especially now that he’s preparing to open his defense in court.
