The truth remains that the kingdom called Benin had igbo inhabitants originally. In those days no settlement had a homogeneous population as it still today. Igbos who claim to migrate from Benin kingdom are still igbos inhabitants there. That’s why there language remained thesame unchanged. This also explained why all those who claimed to migrate from Benin moved and settled eastwards from Benin (now anioma) where their kit and kin are dominant, some crossing over the Niger River (onitcha).This eastward trajectory happened at the time of cr!sis in Benin.Non of these Igbo speakers migrating from Benin moved towards Yoruba areas or up North
