The bitter truth is that the FCT Minister, Nyesome Wike knows vividly that the land belongs to the former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral AZ Gambo, but he still went ahead to exercise his political power towards a man who commanded a strong chain of command in the Nigerian Military. Was he expecting the young Naval officer to disobey the order of his superior, that would have been the greatest insubordination in the service, that a young officer like him who is just starting has started learning to disobey military orders, he maybe charged, and court martial for indiscipline.

Nyesome Wike should have acted like a reasonable father, talk to the young officer kindly rather than using harsh words on him, and for that he must tender an apology to the young officer, because he was just acting by an order from a higher military authority. In this kind of scenario, one who is professionally oriented would have just speak to the higher military authority for an advice and solution to solve issues like this , instead of trying to use a political power to suppress a military command, it can’t work rather it will bring an issue to national security.
