Trump designated Nigeria a country of particular concern, the entire world has been following the happenings in Nigeria with great interest, especially regarding the safety of life and property. Some of the reports criticize the ability of the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver on its promise to end the insecurity in Nigeria. It can be observed in the international media that the few voices opposing a US military intervention are growing ever quieter. Trump is receiving more and more moral support daily for his threatened intervention, as the security architecture in Nigeria appears to have completely collapsed. Are we certain that the Nigerian government is not pleased that Trump wants to intervene? How is it that terrprist attacks, kidnªpping, and kilĺïngs have increased since Trump's warnings?
