SOWORE ACCUSÉS NED NWOKO AND POLICÉ OF THRÉATENING REGINA DANIELS’ FAMILY! Human ríghts àctivist and Sahara Reporters founder, Omoyele Sowore, has claimed that Senator Ned Nwoko and some members of the Nigeria Policé Forcè are now thréatening Regina Daniels’ family after his public intervéntion earlier on. Sowore said the senator and his policé allíes are fórcing the family to apologizé and trying to make Regina Daniels return to a rehábilitation centre in Abuja. He also alléged that there are plàns to arrèst and jàil Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, without a faír tríal. He described these actíons as abùse of powér and a clear example of how the policé are being used to intimidáte ordínary citizens. Sowore added that it is shámeful that this is happening under the watch of what he called an “illégally appoínted Inspector General of Policé.” The àctivist urged Nigerians to stand up agaínst injustíce and not allow the rich and powérful to use the policé to oppréss others.
