Burkina Faso president, Captain Ibrahim Traore has banned the importation of furniture in the country. The president made this pronouncement today as he promised to empower Burkinabe youths with the necessary skills to produce quality furniture that will be used in the country.
He said:
"No one will import luxury furniture for their offices any more. We will make them (the furniture) here in Burkina Faso. We will make them until they become as good as we want."
