  • Omoyele Sowore Speaks Out: “Even DSS Operatives Complain To Me About Their Suffering”

Human rights activist and pro-democracy campaigner, Omoyele Sowore, has once again exposed the hidden rot within Nigeria’s security system.

According to Sowore, even some Department of State Services (DSS) operatives — the same people who often arrest and intimidate activists — privately complain to him about their poor welfare, unpaid allowances, and frustration under the same government they serve.

    He revealed:

    > “When we leave this place, the DSS will come and harass you. Don’t worry. Even they complain to me in private — they are suffering too. Their allowances are not paid, and they’re tired of this system.”

Sowore’s statement sheds light on the reality that many Nigerians, even within the security forces, are victims of the same bad leadership.

It’s a powerful reminder that poverty and injustice don’t wear uniforms — they affect everyone.

What do you think about Sowore’s statement? Do you agree that the system is failing even those protecting it?
